This is the Airbnb building for stars. George and Amal Clooney spent a day or two there. So did John Legend and Chrissy Tiegen. No doubt many other celebrities have passed through these fabulous doors, but now the party is over.
This SoHo townhouse at 116 Sullivan Street, which attracted numerous stars as short-term tenants, is now on the market for $15.995 million. Perhaps the reason for the sale was the city's crackdown on owner Richard Fertig, who was reportedly missing four building violations for a basement apartment that was illegally converted, as well as a fire alarm and exits.
An entrepreneur and “Airbnb Superhost” is ready.
The townhouse consists of the main apartment and the garden apartment. Both were recently available for rent - the main apartment for $45,000 per month and the garden unit for $8,000. Not too shabby.
