SUMMIT One Vanderbilt has revolutionized the observation deck experience, with floors and walls made of mirrors surrounded by the skyline, it's like a third-dimensional fairy tale.
One Vanderbilt is the tallest commercial building in Midtown Manhattan and the top three floors, 330 meters, 93 stories above the streets of NYC, offer breathtaking 360 degree views of the Big Apple skyline.
Located at the top of Midtown Manhattan's new iconic modern landmark, One Vanderbilt, SUMMIT brings a new relationship to cities and observation decks, an experience with a difference.
In the lobby of Grand Central Terminal, where the entrance is located, is the incredible story behind the creation of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. SUMMIT was created to present New York's skyline to visitors in a new and unusual way.
The SUMMIT experience begins with a thrilling elevator ride to the 91st floor. From there we go straight on to SUMMIT AIR, where our first exciting experience awaits. In the following 2 floors full of mirrors, you can experience the Manhattan skyline, which is reflected around you, in a completely new way.
Next, head to SUMMIT LEVITATION where you can test your limits in two glass skyboxes and get a view of the city from the glass floor, 1,000 feet above Madison Avenue.
Next, the path leads through the different levels of SUMMIT, where you become a part of the art yourself. You can watch his image in the clouds via a multimedia screen and feel like a playful child in the silver AFFINITY balloon room. On the last floor, the 93rd, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of NYC from another vantage point on the partially open-air observation deck. There you can enjoy a cocktail above the clouds if you can't tear yourself away from the view.
