The fantastic observation deck at the top of Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center's tallest skyscraper, offers a unique view, perhaps even the best in the city. On the north side you have a breathtaking view of Central Park and on the opposite side you can see the Empire State Building and the World Trade Center.
Once you enter Rockefeller Center, go through security and head to the 365-day-a-year Top of the Rock observation deck.
The view is as breathtaking as almost any other in New York City. The three floors of indoor and outdoor decks impress day and night. Enjoy the view from a comfortable seat or use binoculars for unobstructed views through glass panels on the 67th and 69th floors and the Open Air Observatory on the 70th floor.
Be photographed on the three levels with a Kodak Pro and pick up the prints on the way out. You can also upgrade your ticket to include a guided tour of the famous Rockefeller Center. Stroll through the building, its gardens and art spaces and see what Rockefeller's vision for a cultural space evolved into.
