Something you shouldn't miss is the Halloween Parade in the West Village. On October 31st from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. you can see the craziest and most exciting costumes. The parade route is as shown on the map below. After the Halloween parade there will be lots of parties, more on that later.
As promised, we're continuing today with another recommendation for Halloween in New York . Our team has been looking for the best Halloween parties in the city and would like to recommend the PHD Terrace near Times Square . And you're lucky. You can still order tickets online. The motto is: “ That 70's Show Halloween at PHD Terrace” . It takes place on Saturday October 28th. The party guests will all come dressed up, because most New Yorkers love to dress up in very unusual and elaborate ways. The costume doesn't necessarily have to be scary. You can dress up however you want.
Even if it is a 70s party, different styles of music and only some hits from the 70s are mixed in. Four very popular DJs will accompany you through the evening with a mix of music genres such as hip hop , house , charts and 70s music . Maybe that sounds a bit strange to you. Try it out. The DJs in New York are world class and can put together great mixtapes. The party takes place on two levels, so you can always switch if you don't like the music that much. The party takes place in a very posh hotel, the PHD Terrace Dream Hotel in Midtown, right near Times Square . A great view rounds off this unique party. It will be a Halloween party that you will never forget in your life. :)
The PHD Hotel is widely known for its great parties right in the heart of Manhattan . But the Halloween party is something very special. Entry opens at 9 p.m., although the party usually doesn't really get going until around 11 p.m. Admission is $35 . There are additional options that you can book. For an overview and to reserve tickets, please CLICK HERE .
However, if you're not the type for a crazy, fancy Halloween party, check out our other ideas in our first part of the Halloween-themed blog. You can access this by CLICKING HERE .
If you'd rather take it a little easier, how about a visit to the MET ? There is a very interesting exhibition here. Or if you just don't want to decide in advance, then spend the night in West or East Village or in Hell's kitchen . There are countless bars and pubs here where you can also spend a great evening.
We wish you Happy Halloween! :)
