For those who love the Friends series , a walk in the West Village, where the apartment building from the series is located, is a must. Monica's apartment is on the corner of Bedford St. and Groove St. If you use Google, type in this address "90 Bedford St., New York, NY 10014").

Something you will notice is that the large window from the series that is seen in the apartment in the series does not exist. The interior design was done in Hollywood Studios, but in reality the building in the Village only has small windows, i.e. neither large windows nor terraces. Inside the building, on the ground floor, was the Central Perk Cafe in fiction, which never existed in reality. Instead there is a restaurant bar called The Little Own.

You can take the best photo from the diagonally opposite corner, where you can cover the entire length of the building (just stand in front of the light pole).

There are several subway connections, the easiest for you will be the red line 1 from Times Square, get on the "Downtown" train and get off at the Chrisotpher Street station after about 10-15 minutes. You can find out how to navigate the subway here .
