If you thought only tourists shop in souvenir shops then you were very mistaken, a native New Yorker also looks in there every now and then.
Robert De Niro was a guest on Stephen Colbert's Late Night Show this week. De Niro is one of the greatest film icons of all time and a true New Yorker, who Stephen Colbert also thought would give the two-time Oscar winner some "I LOVE NYC" products.
De Niro considered a Big Apple picture frame, but never dreamed of purchasing a Trump magnet. “Give it to your wife, put it on the fridge,” Colbert offered. "They're really nice. They'll stick to anything, even if it's not metal."
Colbert smashed a Trump cup and offered De Niro a second one. "It's two for $14.99. If you don't break the second one, I'm losing money," he joked with De Niro.
De Niro ended up wearing an Empire State Building t-shirt with a picture of a King Kong-style kitten, a fake Oscar statue and some Trump candy, but check it out for yourself in the video below, starting at minute 3.
