In an effort to help visitors and locals alike, the city has begun installing free Wi-Fi stations in 7,500 old phone booths spread across all 5 boroughs, allowing users to look up routes, find reviews for a nearby cafe or just check your email.
LinkNYC kiosks also offer free phone service nationwide throughout the United States and USB ports allow you to charge your smartphone on site.
