The "Big Apple" turns into a Christmas fairytale land during the winter, it has the most beautiful and romantic parks with exciting ice skating areas, great Christmas markets hidden between the skyscrapers and the most famous Christmas tree in the world. Here are 5 things you can't miss during this time in New York.
1. Selfie at the most famous Christmas tree in the world , at Rockefeller Center. Every New York visitor who is in the city between November 29th and January 7th should visit Rockefeller Plaza : There you can see the tree, the ice skating rink and the great light show at the Saks Fifth Avenue department store across the street to see the plaza. The show starts at 4:35 p.m. and runs every 10 minutes until 11:35 p.m., running until January 10th.

2. Christmas market visit at Union Square or Columbus Circle. The markets are a little different than you know them from Europe, the backdrop of the skyline is incomparable. You will find great innovative dishes and snacks, as well as delicious hot chocolate.
3. Dyker Heights Christmas Lights Tour A fantastic place, far from Manhattan, a mix of Hollywood and American sense of decoration. Dyker Heights neighbors have been competing for years to see who has the prettiest Christmas lights. 4. Rolf's German Restaurant The Gramercy Park neighborhood has one of the most over-the-top Christmas decorations in the city, this is something you have to see. The restaurant reportedly spends between $60,000 and $65,000 a year decorating the tiny interior with twinkling lights, baubles and garland. 5. The Rockettes - Radio City Christmas Spectacular The famous Radio City Christmas Spectacular Christmas show for the whole family, starring the Rockettes. The show has been performed at the world-famous Radio City Music Hall since 1933. You can get tickets here. CLICK HERE
