One World Trade Center
1WTC, called "Freedom Tower" is the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere and the 6th tallest in the world as of 2016. It is no coincidence that the altitude is 1,776 feet (541m). This number has great significance in American history, this year America declared its independence from Great Britain. Located on the 100th and 101st floors, the observatory is an absolute experience. Floors 1-19 are the base of the building with a 65-foot-tall (20 meters) public lobby. Rented office space begins on the 20th floor and continues to the 64th floor. On the 65th floor there is a so-called sky lobby and from there the office space continues up to the 90th floor. Floors 91-99 and 103-104 are machine rooms.

Oculus
The New York Times called the building “Rising Phoenix.” The comparison with the mythical Phoenix bird is based on the symbolic location of the train station/shopping center , as the building was built on the site of the rubble of the former Twin Towers, which were destroyed in the attacks on September 11, 2001. Phoenix, translated as “the reborn” who dies at the end of his life cycle in order to rise again from his ashes. The architect Calatrava wanted to convey the impression of a bird stretching into the air, its steel wings ready to take off.
The total costs amounted to four billion dollars (3.69 billion euros).
There you will find the connection to New Jersey with the PATH train, the subway lines 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, J, Z and R. There are countless shops of all kinds, restaurants and an underground connection to the mall in Battery Brookfield Place Park.
